Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Valentin Rindlisbacher charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Kraig Fred might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armağan Mukremin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kraig Fred ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Liborius Müller could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Marcos Ranolfo however easily saved by the left post. Marcos Ranolfo stood somewhat misplaced when Paulo Seco came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 67 minute.
