When Eloy Aznar came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Municipales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Aznar couldn't finish the play. Osvaldinho Rocha scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvin van der Sar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nico Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Aznar in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Aznar got free with Nico Tasso in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Encanto's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Encanto's Nico Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Encanto from getting a goal against them. The corner led Municipales FC's Bruce Harper to fire away a dangerous shot which Nico Tasso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 34th minute, Municipales FC's Eloy Aznar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The supporters of Municipales FC booed when Encanto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Encanto's goalkeeper Nico Tasso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Eloy Aznar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nico Tasso. Municipales FC's Edgardo Quintun was substituted for Eloy Aznar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgardo Quintun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgardo Quintun might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nico Tasso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Quintun ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Quintun in the 56th minute of play forced Encanto's goalkeeper Nico Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, Encanto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Nico Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Quintun in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Encanto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Despite this Nico Tasso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Encanto's Nico Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Quintun in the 64th minute of play. Nico Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Quintun in the 65th minute of the match. Municipales FC made a substitution. Ildefonso Arixo replaced Francisco Vincente. Municipales FC were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Encanto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bruce Harper took the corner. Encanto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruce Harper ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Quintun in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Tasso saved Encanto from getting behind. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Encanto's goalkeeper Nico Tasso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
