The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmie Stephansson got free with Elias Urdaspal in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonatan Ivarsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Puskas United's players had a chance to rest. After 15 played minutes Puskas United got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Theodore. Wara's Jean-Baptiste Boulebda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Puskas United. In the 17th minute of the match, Jimmie Stephansson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elias Urdaspal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 19th match minute, Puskas United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andréas Åman to maneuver through the defense. Larkins Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nestor Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larkins Potter in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Godholm in the 22nd minute of play forced Wara's goalkeeper Elias Urdaspal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Puskas United's Nestor Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larkins Potter in the 27th minute of play. Elias Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Godholm in the 28th minute of play. Larkins Potter scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Iratxo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Taha Rami kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Wara's goal looked a bit too open when John Godholm came free, but Elias Urdaspal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zdenek Klíma kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Puskas United's Nestor Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faouzi Louahla in the 51st minute of play. Elias Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Godholm in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes of play, Puskas United's Oliver Gallberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Urdaspal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute Oliver Gallberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oliver Gallberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miromir Gecionis kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Jimmie Stephansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Baptiste Boulebda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nestor Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Urdaspal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Godholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Nestor Iratxo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Larkins Potter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 86 minute of play. Puskas United's Jan-Olof Dalgren was substituted for Oliver Gallberg. If Jan-Olof Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Puskas United manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Wara to win.
