In the 11th minute Joël Willaume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cengizhan Şahistan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitri Bougault in the 12th minute of play forced 1. FC Krotoszyn's goalkeeper Cengizhan Şahistan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herblay were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after 1. FC Krotoszyn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dimitri Bougault took the corner. Dimitri Bougault made a great header on Herblay's corner, it was just that 1. FC Krotoszyn's Cengizhan Şahistan managed to reach the ball for a save. Ludomil Kajdasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Kisielka in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitri Bougault in the 15th minute of play forced 1. Cengizhan Şahistan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herblay. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Holger Duusgaard kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Norbert Cadart got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 1. The crowd rose to their feet as Herblay's Dimitri Bougault slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cengizhan Şahistan. That made the score 0-4 after 89 minutes of play. 93 minutes into the match, 1. FC Krotoszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Mustapha Monteillet came free, but Cengizhan Şahistan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
