Ludomil Kajdasz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Esteban Beti made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Antonin Dagorne sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Real Madrid's Esteban Beti got control of the ball when Léon Monnet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Léon Monnet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Esteban Beti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Léon Monnet was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 83 minutes, Léon Monnet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herblay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léon Monnet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid's zone, Léon Monnet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Beti came out of the goal and Léon Monnet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Lucjan Burowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Madrid eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
