But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Boumans couldn't finish the play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ted Almstedt made a kick off. Cengizhan Şahistan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Melin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cengizhan Şahistan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Almstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tage Deckbergh in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cengizhan Şahistan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Jerzy Urban managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1. FC Krotoszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Urban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Erik Åhlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1. FC Krotoszyn's Cengizhan Şahistan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Deckbergh in the 96th minute of play. 1. FC Krotoszyn's Jerzy Urban got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
