The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Grzegorz Rasiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 played minutes Runa United got a freekick which was hit by Anttoni Salmelainen. 7 minutes into the game, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Grzegorz Rasiak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils-Erik Åhlberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 11thth minute of the game Grzegorz Rasiak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th match minute, Chigüires De Mogadiscio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Pisarczyk to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Kevin Viegas got a free kick in the 21st minute. 30 minutes into the match, Runa United's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Rasiak came free, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Runa United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Chigüires De Mogadiscio a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Uno Åman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg. 0-2. Huib 甘 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Ekgren in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ted Almstedt was the one to do the kick off. Huib 甘 came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Runa United's Anttoni Salmelainen. But to his dismay, Anttoni Salmelainen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The throw-in from Anttoni Salmelainen in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Naldo Esteves. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Grzegorz Rasiak got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils-Erik Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Rasiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Runa United made a substitution. Tage Deckbergh replaced Ted Almstedt. With a little luck, Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg got control of the ball when Grzegorz Rasiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Runa United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Naldo Esteves was slow to take the kick. During this time Chigüires De Mogadiscio's players had a chance to rest. Anttoni Salmelainen kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Grzegorz Rasiak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Erik Åhlberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Grzegorz Rasiak made a precise shot to the right of Nils-Erik Åhlberg. Runa United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Nils-Erik Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uno Åman, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Chigüires De Mogadiscio were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Runa United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Naldo Esteves took the corner. The corner led Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Naldo Esteves to fire away a dangerous shot which Nils-Erik Åhlberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The throw-in from Anttoni Salmelainen in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Naldo Esteves. After 87 minutes, Grzegorz Zieba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chigüires De Mogadiscio and the Runa United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Runa United booed when Chigüires De Mogadiscio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grzegorz Zieba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Tage Deckbergh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huib 甘 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's attentive Naldo Esteves managed to snatch the ball when Rafa Márquez made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chigüires De Mogadiscio walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
