The audience was convinced that Cemal Özgun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimeno Nevada was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Şeray Rauf made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Taci Argün sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Froylan came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Cemal Özgun came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Last Airbender's Güntekin Uskan was substituted for Cemal Özgun. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Taci Argün was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Last Airbender's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruperto Salvadore was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Magallanes's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 55 minutes, Taci Argün managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Magallanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taci Argün was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ruperto Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Magallanes's Jan Sierocki was substituted for Taci Argün. In the 67th minute Club Atlético Magallanes were awarded a corner. Ruperto Salvadore went to the cornerflag to take it. The coaching staff of Club Atlético Magallanes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ma Peng Yuan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 82 played minutes Club Atlético Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Ma Peng Yuan. 83 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Hakkı Kenan Ayçetin came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yakut Tengiz's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Magallanes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yakut Tengiz helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes, Club Atlético Magallanes's Ruperto Salvadore shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Şeray Rauf came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Magallanes reached it. 90 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's Ruperto Salvadore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şeray Rauf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruperto Salvadore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Club Atlético Magallanes lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
