A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanislaw Boruta. Slawomir Wojciechowski had several of the GuateFortín's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Nery Pumpido as he didn't even see the shot coming. Xuacu Xuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Zellier in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sven-Edvin Jansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xuacu Xuan was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. With a little luck, GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido got control of the ball when Stanislaw Boruta tried to sneak it across the goal line. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Thierry Henry advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 20th minute. GuateFortín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angel Alvarenga in the 25th minute. Xuacu Xuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Zellier in the 26th minute of play. If Sven-Edvin Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xuacu Xuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Elías Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xuacu Xuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angel Alvarenga who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Angel Alvarenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xuacu Xuan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xuacu Xuan saved KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, Thierry Henry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Xuacu Xuan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A defense, Sven-Edvin Jansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xuacu Xuan. The KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xuacu Xuan should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Edvin Jansson made a kick off. Xuacu Xuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Zellier in the 51st minute of the match. Sven-Edvin Jansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xuacu Xuan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Xuacu Xuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zico Zellier. The supporters of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanyo Búnkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Claudio Sozzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nery Pumpido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute GuateFortín were awarded a corner. Angel Alvarenga went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on GuateFortín's corner Angel Alvarenga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Xuacu Xuan quite easily take care of the ball. Pablo Mora ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led GuateFortín's Pablo Mora to fire away a dangerous shot which Xuacu Xuan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sven-Edvin Jansson scored 1-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xuacu Xuan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xuacu Xuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Villanueva in the 91st minute. Xuacu Xuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute of the match Pablo Mora shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xuacu Xuan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GuateFortín walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
