The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Mathiassen, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Børseth in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to FRANK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Stefan Mathiassen hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zico Zellier in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Zellier, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Ola Børseth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nery Pumpido. GuateFortín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ola Børseth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. FRANK's Hugo Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zico Zellier in the 26th minute of play. When Isak Holmvik fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FRANK's protests and gave Isak Holmvik a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when FRANK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isak Holmvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zico Zellier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, FRANK's Hugo Moraes got control of the ball when Stanyo Búnkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 played minutes FRANK got a freekick which was hit by Steve Yzerman. Hugo Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Zellier in the 32nd minute of the match. Hugo Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanyo Búnkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, FRANK's goal looked a bit too open when Zico Zellier came free, but Hugo Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Zico Zellier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hugo Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the match, FRANK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Jansson came free, but Hugo Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Stefan Mathiassen came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the FRANK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Mathiassen couldn't finish the play. Hugo Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Edvin Jansson's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Moraes saved FRANK from getting behind. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Mathiassen in the 60th minute. When Máximo Perrone came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the GuateFortín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Máximo Perrone couldn't finish the play. GuateFortín made a substitution. Elias Pagomari replaced Thierry Henry. GuateFortín's Eliseo Umanzor was substituted for Máximo Perrone. Eliseo Umanzor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FRANK's Hugo Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zico Zellier in the 68th minute of play. After taking down the ball on GuateFortín's corner Sven-Edvin Jansson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugo Moraes quite easily take care of the ball. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Børseth, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Zico Zellier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Moraes having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Sven-Edvin Jansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GuateFortín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Hugo Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Zellier in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Isak Holmvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Zico Zellier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GuateFortín were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after FRANK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zico Zellier took the corner. After taking down the ball on GuateFortín's corner Zico Zellier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugo Moraes quite easily take care of the ball. Zico Zellier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 96th minute of play.
