The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Edvin Jansson got free with Vinícius Novaes in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 25 minutes, Zico Zellier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GuateFortín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zico Zellier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vinícius Novaes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 32nd minute. After the first half Bebela were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bebela's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
