After a rather tough play, the xeneise dream team's Fryderyk Czerner got a free kick in the 4th minute. Vinicio Aires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute the xeneise dream team were awarded a corner. Genaro Farias went to the cornerflag to take it. Endre Szentes hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Montrelle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habil Castolo in the 28th minute of play forced Gimnasia y tiro's goalkeeper Wieslaw Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wieslaw Panasewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacharias Siatzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gimnasia y tiro's Wieslaw Panasewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacharias Siatzis in the 32nd minute of play. Paolo Eutor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Paolo Eutor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gimnasia y tiro's Wieslaw Panasewicz. Wieslaw Panasewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Montrelle in the 39th minute of play forced the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Vinicio Aires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by the xeneise dream team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Esben Nordborg was slow to take the kick. During this time Gimnasia y tiro's players had a chance to rest. Stratos Karatzas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to Gimnasia y tiro getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Endre Szentes hit a great ball. Wieslaw Panasewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habil Castolo in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gimnasia y tiro made a substitution. Batuhan Modrić replaced Reynaldo Montrelle. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Habil Castolo was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Batuhan Modrić notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of the xeneise dream team's Vinicio Aires. Vinicio Aires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 62 minutes into the game, Paolo Eutor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wieslaw Panasewicz. Paolo Eutor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. A collision led to Gimnasia y tiro getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Basilio Guillem hit a great ball. Gimnasia y tiro's Bernardino Quintin was substituted for Stratos Karatzas. In the 65th match minute, Gimnasia y tiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Guillem to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Habil Castolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Panasewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wieslaw Panasewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Eutor in the 71st minute of the match. Zacharias Siatzis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Wieslaw Panasewicz made a huge save. Esben Nordborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gimnasia y tiro's Jonatan Euloxu was substituted for Basilio Guillem. After having played for 81 minutes, Zacharias Siatzis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. the xeneise dream team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacharias Siatzis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Batuhan Modrić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia y tiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. the xeneise dream team's Aquiles Mikolas was substituted for Habil Castolo. Fryderyk Czerner kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. the xeneise dream team's Vinicio Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batuhan Modrić in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in the xeneise dream team's zone, Batuhan Modrić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Aires came out of the goal and Batuhan Modrić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
