Matthias Brandin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Cunea in the 8th minute of the match. Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Panțuru in the 10th minute of play. Aron Iurașcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Conceicão, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th match minute, Steaua Bucuresti -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Panțuru to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes, Filip Panțuru made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Alexandrie CF's zone, Gheorghe Cunea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthias Brandin came out of the goal and Gheorghe Cunea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Panțuru in the 21st minute of play forced Alexandrie CF's goalkeeper Matthias Brandin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Filip Panțuru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthias Brandin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Panțuru came free, but Matthias Brandin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aron Ciorăscu came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Steaua Bucuresti -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Ciorăscu couldn't finish the play. Yannick Osterhagen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Aron Iurașcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Alexandrie CF defense, Aron Ciorăscu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthias Brandin. The Alexandrie CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthias Brandin should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Steaua Bucuresti -MM- booed when Alexandrie CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Horado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yannick Osterhagen charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yannick Osterhagen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Alexandrie CF's Yannick Osterhagen got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half Steaua Bucuresti -MM- were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Conceicão to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Alexandrie CF's Yannick Osterhagen got a free kick in the 60th minute. Yannick Osterhagen kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Aron Ciorăscu in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alexandrie CF's goalie prevented a goal. Alexandrie CF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Aron Ciorăscu scored to the left of an out of position Matthias Brandin, making the score, 0-6. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Steaua Bucuresti -MM-! In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Alexandrie CF. Xu Xing Ting stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aron Iurașcu. 1-6. Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Ciorăscu in the 78th minute of play. Alexandrie CF made a substitution. Roland Gosse replaced Silvestre Perrando. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Johnson in the 86th minute of play forced Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goalkeeper Aron Iurașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthias Brandin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
