Glauco Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dedê Valladares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Munhoz's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. When Uraricuera EC's Pedro Munhoz in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vascogoianiense FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 11 minutes, Pedro Munhoz made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vascogoianiense FC's Dedê Valladares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Glauco Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute, Pedro Munhoz made a precise shot to the right of Dedê Valladares. Vascogoianiense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 20th minute, Pedro Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Munhoz in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedê Valladares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Glauco Aparecido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dedê Valladares. Vascogoianiense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Glauco Aparecido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Munhoz in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedê Valladares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Glauco Aparecido took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dedê Valladares. Dedê Valladares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The Uraricuera EC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Uraricuera EC's Pedro Munhoz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd minute, Kephalos Gomatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Munhoz came free, but Dedê Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Pedro Munhoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uraricuera EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With his leg Dedê Valladares managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Uraricuera EC's Pedro Munhoz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Pedro Munhoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dedê Valladares was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After 72 minutes, Ronaldão Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vascogoianiense FC and the Uraricuera EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Vascogoianiense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Pedro Munhoz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Dedê Valladares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Uraricuera EC's Kephalos Gomatos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dedê Valladares. That made the score 0-13 after 79 minutes of play. 87 minutes into the game, Pedro Munhoz lined in a short shot 0-14 behind a frustrated Dedê Valladares. When the match was over Uraricuera EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vascogoianiense FC throughout the match.
