Arvo Kena hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute Pedro Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ain Averin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Dundee's Ain Averin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Sergipano in the 8th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Uraricuera EC got a freekick which was hit by Kephalos Gomatos. 16 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goalkeeper Ain Averin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glauco Aparecido. In the 18th minute Kaido Jaas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Dundee's Ain Averin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FC Dundee from getting a goal against them. After having played for 21 minutes, Ismael Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uraricuera EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Uraricuera EC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaido Jaas came free, but Chiquinho Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chiquinho Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaido Jaas, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sydney de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Ismael Sergipano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Teet Lasso scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chiquinho Peres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Dundee made a substitution. Arno Luuk replaced Hardi Lind. FC Dundee's Edvin Hargi was substituted for Kaido Jaas. After the first half FC Dundee were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arno Luuk was the one to do the kick off. Ain Averin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arno Luuk got free with Chiquinho Peres in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Uraricuera EC's goal looked a bit too open when Arno Luuk came free, but Chiquinho Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arno Luuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Peres having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvo Kena got free with Chiquinho Peres in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafa da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Arno Luuks short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Chiquinho Peres to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of FC Dundee booed when Uraricuera EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Arno Luuk suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 80 minutes into the game, Filipe da Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uraricuera EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dundee the free kick. FC Dundee's Edgardo Florian was substituted for Arno Luuk. Verner Dalkvist fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 83rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. 김 황 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Peres having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Edgardo Florian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dundee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Florian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded FC Dundee left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Uraricuera EC.
