Darío Pereyra struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Aquiles Ellande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio FBPA. Jardel Sanches was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the match, Zoltán Battai notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches. Jardel Sanches was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
