In the 3rdth minute of the game Pipis Karapatakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Carlos Leclerc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pipis Karapatakis took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Leclerc. Carlos Leclerc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jardel Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamilton Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pipis Karapatakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pipis Karapatakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Carlos Leclerc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 17th minute of play. Carlos Leclerc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pipis Karapatakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Pipis Karapatakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Leclerc was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Francisco da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Francisco da Cunha made the kick off in the second half. Pipis Karapatakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Leclerc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Pipis Karapatakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filiph Biörling received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Leclerc came out and tried to block the shot, but Filiph Biörling slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 69th minute. Grêmio FBPA's Ted Hoogenkamp was substituted for Filiph Biörling. Pipis Karapatakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Leclerc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafa de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Pipis Karapatakis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlos Leclerc firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 97th minute Grêmio FBPA were awarded a corner. Darío Pereyra went to the cornerflag to take it. Darío Pereyra made a great header on Grêmio FBPA's corner, it was just that Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Carlos Leclerc managed to reach the ball for a save.
