Literarios Borgeanos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pipis Karapatakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Filiph Biörling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pipis Karapatakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, Literarios Borgeanos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Karapatakis came free, but Patricio Rius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Literarios Borgeanos FC's Patricio Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 18th minute of play. Pipis Karapatakis struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Patricio Rius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio FBPA. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pipis Karapatakis in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Rius saved Literarios Borgeanos FC from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Pipis Karapatakis notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Literarios Borgeanos FC's Patricio Rius. Patricio Rius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, Pipis Karapatakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patricio Rius. Literarios Borgeanos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pipis Karapatakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pipis Karapatakis was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 55th minute Alejandro Endura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Literarios Borgeanos FC's Silvio Arotza got a free kick in the 60th minute. Literarios Borgeanos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Pipis Karapatakis scored to the left of an out of position Patricio Rius, making the score, 0-8. 65 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's Filiph Biörling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Rius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patricio Rius. That made the score 0-9 after 67 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Literarios Borgeanos FC's Angelo Bartolome got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jardel Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Endura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Angelo Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grêmio FBPA's Ted Hoogenkamp was substituted for Filiph Biörling. Literarios Borgeanos FC made a substitution. Benjamin Agüero replaced Alejandro Endura. After 78 played minutes Literarios Borgeanos FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Bartolome. Patricio Rius was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Pipis Karapatakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pipis Karapatakis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. After 82nd play minutes Pipis Karapatakis shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Patricio Rius and just under the crossbar into goal. Ted Hoogenkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Rius having to interfere. If Pipis Karapatakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Rius came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis. But to his dismay, Pipis Karapatakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. The Literarios Borgeanos FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grêmio FBPA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
