The referee ignored Fc Pawonków's protests and gave Wladyslaw Pawlak a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Hanselmann in the 5th minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tytus Kuszczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Kuszczak came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When GreenUnited's Yaman Akar in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as Edward Chaniago kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tanek Fetor. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. After 43 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Simeon Parks. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Kuszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Pawonków's goalkeeper Tanek Fetor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Patrick Hanselmanns short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Sebastián Torrico to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Max Stevens kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Sebastián Torrico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diaz Leniz in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Hanselmann got free with Sebastián Torrico in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind GreenUnited's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81stth minute of the game Max Stevens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Pawonków's Tanek Fetor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 82 minutes Fc Pawonków's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michalis Kourtis who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ovidiu Şerbănescu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Diaz Leniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85th minute Diaz Leniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Torrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tytus Kuszczak in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, GreenUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Laine to maneuver through the defense. Sebastián Torrico was a little too slow when Patrick Hanselmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-2. After 96 minutes, Diaz Leniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Pawonków and the GreenUnited players grew even worse after the yellow card. The GreenUnited manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Fc Pawonków to win.
