Ercole Carnevale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garry Mason in the 9th minute. Garry Mason could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ercole Carnevale made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Grzelak in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Victor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Grzelak in the 15th minute of play forced Los Colegas del Barrio's goalkeeper Paulo Victor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesare Romano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Victor having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grzegorz Grzelak in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Victor saved Los Colegas del Barrio from getting behind. Paulo Victor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Chale went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Grzegorz Grzelak struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Paulo Victor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santoryu FC. In the 24th minute, Zosimo Ibanez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Colegas del Barrio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andrea Muciaccia was slow to take the kick. During this time Santoryu FC's players had a chance to rest. 34 minutes into the match, Los Colegas del Barrio's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Grzelak came free, but Paulo Victor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Los Colegas del Barrio getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cordarin Silva hit a great ball. Paulo Victor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Muciaccia in the 35th minute of play. Paulo Victor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Chale, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Los Colegas del Barrio's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Grzelak came free, but Paulo Victor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santoryu FC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Los Colegas del Barrio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andrea Muciaccia took the corner. After 43 played minutes Santoryu FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Muciaccia. Paulo Victor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Romano in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Grzegorz Grzelak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Victor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Santoryu FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Paulo Victor was a little too slow when Teodoro Chale got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 57th minute of the match, Grzegorz Grzelak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulo Victor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Los Colegas del Barrio defense, Grzegorz Grzelak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Victor. The Los Colegas del Barrio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Victor should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Garry Mason hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Colegas del Barrio's Olaf Iniesta was substituted for Cordarin Silva. Los Colegas del Barrio's Bitxintxo Etxeberria was substituted for Cosme De Silva. Los Colegas del Barrio made a substitution. Eutropio Harroyo replaced Zosimo Ibanez. Santoryu FC made a substitution. Demetrio Di Massa replaced Flavio Facchini. Paulo Victor was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Dennis Nero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Colegas del Barrio reached it. Dennis Nero might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Victor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dennis Nero ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Colegas del Barrio's goalkeeper Paulo Victor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Victor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dennis Nero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 86 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garry Mason in the 90th minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Ercole Carnevale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Los Colegas del Barrio booed when Santoryu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Minicucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ercole Carnevale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garry Mason, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Santoryu FC's Frank Andreassi got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Santoryu FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
