A collision led to Berserkers FC Ψ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Merih Güdeş hit a great ball. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Bottone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luc Van Hinnendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Ted in the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavies Muñagorri got free with Ramiro Gabrio in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio got control of the ball when Ken Brogren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramiro Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mac Mon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Mac Mon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramiro Gabrio. Berserkers FC Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mac Mon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When FC Bruges's Mac Mon in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berserkers FC Ψ's goalie prevented a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shane Corrigan. 26 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Xavies Muñagorri came free, but Ramiro Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Xavies Muñagorri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ramiro Gabrio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ryan Monvoisin kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Victor Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Luc Van Hinnendael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elvio Ted's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luc Van Hinnendael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio got control of the ball when Xavies Muñagorri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luc Van Hinnendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Ted in the 45th minute of the match. When Fedele Baggio fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bruges's protests and gave Fedele Baggio a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Luc Van Hinnendael made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Elvio Ted sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Berserkers FC Ψ's Luc Van Hinnendael threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexander Bottone, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ramiro Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Van Kamp in the 61st minute of play. A hard shot 67 in the game by Elvio Ted from a close distance when the talented Luc Van Hinnendael managed to make a qualified save. FC Bruges's players were relieved. With an all-out effort, Berserkers FC Ψ's Luc Van Hinnendael threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexander Bottone, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón was substituted for Alexander Bottone. Berserkers FC Ψ's Rigoberto Aragones was substituted for Melchor Garoa. 75 minutes into the game, Ken Brogren threw the ball into play from the sideline. Berserkers FC Ψ's Victor Trigo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 82nd minute Mac Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavies Muñagorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Van Kamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Carl Van Kamp took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Gabrio. Ramiro Gabrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Steve Harris's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luc Van Hinnendael firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC Bruges's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
