Venancio Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Ledesma in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Michal Stehno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cayetano Francho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The wind increased when Michal Stehno made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Michal Stehno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unidad de Matanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Patay Juniors's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 62 minutes into the match, Michal Stehno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Francho. Patay Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michal Stehno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru was substituted for Maarten Aelbrecht. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Lotfi Ziadi replaced Michal Stehno. Unidad de Matanza's Yannick Bartz was substituted for Máximo Kirchner. Nestor Bâru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Francho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Clodoveo Orlin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cayetano Francho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nestor Bâru might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Francho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Bâru ran back to his position shaking his head. Cayetano Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Cristofol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgard Ledesma showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 86 minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Bâru came free, but Cayetano Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Unidad de Matanza had won after a very even match.
