With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Cobresal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Desportivo Coala:s goal. The goalkeeper, Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea, was totally fooled by Desportivo Coala's Cauã Novaes, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 11th minute Gregorio Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Cobresal's Gregorio Quintero made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Hermes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guilherme Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Quintero, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Cobresal were awarded a corner. Dino Scapini went to the cornerflag to take it. 26 minutes into the match, José Ignacio Allard notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes. Guilherme Hermes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes in the game, Gaitano Valdovinos dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Gregorio Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Guilherme Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes of play, Cobresal's Gregorio Quintero made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Hermes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guilherme Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Ignacio Allard in the 38th minute of the match. Guilherme Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Quintero in the 39th minute of play. Danilo Diaz de Valdes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Gaitano Valdovinos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Guilherme Hermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marinho Maringá made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Cobresal's Dino Scapini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guilherme Hermes. That made the score 1-6 after 51 minutes of play. Desportivo Coala's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Dino Scapini scored to the left of an out of position Guilherme Hermes, making the score, 1-7. Guilherme Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaitano Valdovinos got free with Guilherme Hermes in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Dino Scapini notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes. Guilherme Hermes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Desportivo Coala defense, Gaitano Valdovinos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme Hermes. The Desportivo Coala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Hermes should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Gregorio Quintero notched a goal, 1-10, to the right of Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes. Guilherme Hermes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, José Ignacio Allard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Hermes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-11. Guilherme Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Scapini, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 88 minutes into the game, Gregorio Quintero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guilherme Hermes. Gregorio Quintero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-14. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Guilherme Hermes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Desportivo Coala's Cláudio Velasco got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dino Scapini kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guilherme Hermes. That made the score 1-15 in the 93 minute of play. Cobresal played a much better game than Desportivo Coala and deserved their victory. The Desportivo Coala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
