Juan Pablo Angel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gildo Nogueira came out of the goal and Marcelo Gallardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 minutes, Marcelo Gallardo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Desportivo Coala's Gildo Nogueira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tamir Abou Adal's late challenge caught a Adrogue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tamir Abou Adal helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Desportivo Coala got a freekick which was hit by Tamir Abou Adal. After 43 minutes of play, Adrogue FC's Marcelo Gallardo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gildo Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Gallardo in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Adrogue FC's Marcelo Gallardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gildo Nogueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. If Marcelo Gallardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Desportivo Coala's Tamir Abou Adal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ezequiel Cerilo, made in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Marcelo Gallardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Adrogue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Adrogue FC's Piti Martinez was substituted for Juan Pablo Angel. After 69 played minutes Desportivo Coala got a freekick which was hit by Tamir Abou Adal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Gallardo in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gildo Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Gallardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Marcelo Gallardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gildo Nogueira. Desportivo Coala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Gallardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Adrogue FC's Laureano Vergaray was substituted for Marcelo Gallardo. Gildo Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 86th minute, Laureano Vergaray made a precise shot to the right of Gildo Nogueira. Desportivo Coala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Ezequiel Cerilo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Laureano Vergaray might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gildo Nogueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Vergaray ran back to his position shaking his head. Gildo Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Laureano Vergaray ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gildo Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0.
