The supporters of Roneros F.C. booed when VIP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Brovall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dumitru Berca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Mourato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Washington Piedrahita was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Romão Mourato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dumitru Berca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romão Mourato in the 15th minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Roneros F.C.'s Romão Mourato got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dumitru Berca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romão Mourato in the 37th minute of play forced VIP's goalkeeper Dumitru Berca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the VIP defense, Romão Mourato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dumitru Berca. The VIP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dumitru Berca should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Ţugui came free, but Ricardo Ceberiche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Roneros F.C.'s protests and gave Romão Mourato a yellow card for diving instead. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Raphael Abraão with Dobri Karapetrov as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romão Mourato in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dumitru Berca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to VIP getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Raphael Abraão hit a great ball.
