Branco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sagarana Clube the free kick. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when Branco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Inge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 孟源枫 in the 20th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sagarana Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Beto Heidemann in the 27th minute. Sten Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Benedito Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Branco FC's Aaron Inge got control of the ball when Éder Madureira tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 孟源枫 in the 34th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-0 became the score in the 37th minute when Yu Yang Sang elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Aaron Inge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Salles in the 40th minute of play. Rupert Dearden hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yu Yang Sang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedito Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by 孟源枫 in the 51st minute. If 孟源枫 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Branco FC's Aaron Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Hoffmann in the 59th minute of play. Benedito Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Nordin in the 64th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, 孟源枫 notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo. Benedito Trigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sagarana Clube's Mazinho Ferraz was substituted for Bruno Salles. Aaron Inge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Éder Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Branco FC's Aaron Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Ferraz in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Mazinho Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sagarana Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Rupert Dearden made in the 85th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Benê Hoffmann however managed to control. The Branco FC fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Branco FC's Mitch Dekens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
