Unikurdos United F.C.'s Sesuldo Teijelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Unikurdos United F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute Los Delfines were awarded a corner. José Luis Brown went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Rogelio Mouricio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Unikurdos United F.C.'s Sesuldo Teijelo did a great save. Sesuldo Teijelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14thth minute of the game Daniel Fribäck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Delfines's Matías Patrone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matías Patrone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Fribäck's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Fribäck in the 19th minute of play forced Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Hilario Asteri in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Unikurdos United F.C.'s Hever Zapatero. 21 minutes into the match, Daniel Fribäck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matías Patrone. Los Delfines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Fribäck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Unikurdos United F.C. booed when Los Delfines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Asteri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Daniel Fribäck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matías Patrone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 32 minutes of play, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Daniel Fribäck made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matías Patrone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matías Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Fribäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matías Patrone came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Unikurdos United F.C.'s Daniel Fribäck. But to his dismay, Daniel Fribäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 43 minutes into the match, Unikurdos United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Sesuldo Teijelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Los Delfines's corner Oliver Bierhoff fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sesuldo Teijelo quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half Unikurdos United F.C. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliver Bierhoff to make the kick off. Raimundo Goyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sesuldo Teijelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Unikurdos United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Sesuldo Teijelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unikurdos United F.C. made a substitution. Gaizka Mendieta replaced Ortzi Goxenola. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Gorka Astola was substituted for Hever Zapatero. After a defensive mix-up in Unikurdos United F.C.'s zone, Zachary Pliszka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sesuldo Teijelo came out of the goal and Zachary Pliszka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Rojelio Carrera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unikurdos United F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Rojelio Carrera in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Matías Patrone, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sesuldo Teijelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Pliszka in the 88th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Unikurdos United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zachary Pliszka came free, but Sesuldo Teijelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Unikurdos United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Min Bustelo. Unikurdos United F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
