The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Real Trabzon Sk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sinan Ateş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Markham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Brufoss IL's Borys Witek got control of the ball when Eddie Murphy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Real Trabzon Sk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by İlkan Barlas in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Real Trabzon Sk's goal looked a bit too open when Kai Østbye came free, but Görkem Büyükada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Görkem Büyükada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai Østbye in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Eddie Murphy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Borys Witek. The goal made the score 1-0. Kent Remme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Görkem Büyükada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orhan Veli Tankut kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Real Trabzon Sk's 吕战永 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vetle Nygård, made in the 31st minute of the game. After some careless play in the Real Trabzon Sk defense, Kent Remme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Görkem Büyükada. The Real Trabzon Sk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Görkem Büyükada should have stopped the shot. Brufoss IL's Borys Witek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Brufoss IL from getting a goal against them. With 47 minutes on the clock, Mark Simon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Real Trabzon Sk's Görkem Büyükada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Markham in the 52nd minute of play. Emanuel Markham hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Real Trabzon Sk's İlkan Barlas got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Markham took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Görkem Büyükada. Görkem Büyükada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Emanuel Markham got in the 62nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Görkem Büyükada handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Görkem Büyükada successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Brufoss IL's Are Høiby was substituted for Jan-Kenneth Heistad. Rune Saltnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Görkem Büyükada having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Kent Remme recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Görkem Büyükada. Kent Remme showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 88 minutes into the match, Real Trabzon Sk's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Markham came free, but Görkem Büyükada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Görkem Büyükada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Remme, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Brufoss IL played a much better game than Real Trabzon Sk and deserved their victory. The Real Trabzon Sk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
