But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garikoitz Revuelta couldn't finish the play. Verwachting's Christijan Schreuder got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 minutes, Christijan Schreuder made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Crni Tigrovi's Nebojša Jerić tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Velimir Vizek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Hilhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Hans Deitmers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Crni Tigrovi's Nebojša Jerić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Twan Hesseling in the 21st minute of play. But to his dismay, Twan Hesseling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Herbert Hilhorst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paško Kukavica in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Vincent Koekkoek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Herbert Hilhorst successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Twan Hesseling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nebojša Jerić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nebojša Jerić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hans Deitmers went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Many of Crni Tigrovi's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Crni Tigrovi may have spent more time on the ball, but Verwachting were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
