The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Răzvan Spineanu in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nebojša Jerić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. RED BLUE STAR's Karol Pierz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save RED BLUE STAR from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, Corneliu Lupescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 姚然军 in the 12th minute of play forced Crni Tigrovi's goalkeeper Nebojša Jerić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Pompiliu Bacalbașa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Pierz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Bacalbașa in the 16th minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Karol Pierz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes Crni Tigrovi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bacary Roudier who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Leszek Ferfecki managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. RED BLUE STAR were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Crni Tigrovi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bacary Roudier took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Bacary Roudier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nebojša Jerić quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Miroslav Agbaba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Karol Pierz made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Răzvan Spineanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nebojša Jerić was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Crni Tigrovi's Nebojša Jerić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Spineanu in the 38th minute of play. Pompiliu Bacalbașa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Karol Pierz made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Bacalbașa came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karol Pierz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Bacalbașa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
RED BLUE STAR's Namık Kemal Korur was substituted for Răzvan Spineanu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Velimir Vizek to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Bacalbașa came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karol Pierz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Agbaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Radoslaw Gizynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Nebojša Jerić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Crni Tigrovi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazar Kotlar to maneuver through the defense. Nebojša Jerić made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Bacary Roudier sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute Velimir Vizek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Pierz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Bacalbașa came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RED BLUE STAR's Namık Kemal Korur got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. RED BLUE STAR's Dumitru Chiriacescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nebojša Jerić in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Namık Kemal Korur got free with Nebojša Jerić in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nebojša Jerić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Namık Kemal Korur in the 89th minute of the match. Crni Tigrovi's Nebojša Jerić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Crni Tigrovi from getting a goal against them. Karol Pierz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Agbaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pompiliu Bacalbașa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karol Pierz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Namık Kemal Korur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RED BLUE STAR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
