The corner led Zamalek FC's Chunche Montero to fire away a dangerous shot which Ruperto Frances despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CRIMINAL MAMBO's Ruperto Frances played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Balaeț in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Daron Joseph ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Frances was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Zamalek FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Filip Stăniloaie hit a great ball. Virgilio Hunfredo's late challenge caught a Zamalek FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgilio Hunfredo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Zamalek FC booed when CRIMINAL MAMBO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Hunfredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruperto Frances made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reese Otto in the 39th minute of play. Bernardo Mattin kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Daron Joseph who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CRIMINAL MAMBO's Ruperto Frances was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 54th minute Sergey Krasinskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Frances saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, CRIMINAL MAMBO's Zeca Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rhys Dimmock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bertil Brodin made a great header on CRIMINAL MAMBO's corner, it was just that Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock managed to reach the ball for a save. After 91 played minutes CRIMINAL MAMBO got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Musko. In the 93rd minute, Bob Bo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CRIMINAL MAMBO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zamalek FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
