Águilas Poblanas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Bonet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Niklas Pedersson made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Daustad's Celestino Poncio. After 30 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Quezada. Alexandros Ismael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Bonet, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Sigurd Storhaug made a great header on Daustad's corner, it was just that Águilas Poblanas's Alexandros Ismael managed to reach the ball for a save. Fabricio Frasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jo Øverås read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Alexandros Ismael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Bonet went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Jo Øverås showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Frasco in the 44th minute of the match. Alexandros Ismael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Bonet in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Ismael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Águilas Poblanas's Virgilio Txindoki was substituted for Levi Lanen. Águilas Poblanas's Amedeo Vitucci was substituted for Tao Cheng Han.
