With a little luck, Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell got control of the ball when Alvaro Micarelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santiago Cordarell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Micarelli in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goalkeeper Santiago Cordarell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Micarelli. With an all-out effort, PINGO PINGO's Santiago Cordarell threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Filip Josefsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Bresikas from getting a goal against them. Santiago Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Micarelli in the 41st minute of play. Gilberto Demario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dionisio Raphael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Åke Stolpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Josefsson in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leovigildo Abumohor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Alvaro Micarelli notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell. Santiago Cordarell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bresikas's goalkeeper Santiago Cordarell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56thth minute of the game Alvaro Micarelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulises Benet hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. PINGO PINGO's Desta Roy was substituted for Baldomiro Cordarrell. After 57 played minutes Bresikas got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Benet. Santiago Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Micarelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th match minute, PINGO PINGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Demario to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes Bresikas got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Bero. After having played for 64 minutes, Casimiro Claris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PINGO PINGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Claris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dionisio Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Enekoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Bresikas's Paulino Bero got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute PINGO PINGO were awarded a corner. Casimiro Claris went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Alvaro Micarelli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell did a great save. In the 78th minute, Lisandro Gutierrez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Cordarell was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Bresikas's zone, Alvaro Micarelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Cordarell came out of the goal and Alvaro Micarelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Alvaro Micarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
