Pavlos Kopitsis made in the 6th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Avraam Sevastopoulos. Vaggelis Lalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Södertälje's attentive Ralf Björk managed to snatch the ball when Pavlos Kopitsis made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. In the 12th minute, Markus Svensson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Södertälje fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Real Södertälje's Markus Svensson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vaggelis Lalas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Real Södertälje's Birger Hedberg was substituted for Ludomil Kluska. The wind increased when Jan-Olof Kämpe made the kick off in the second half. Pavlos Kopitsis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The long shot by Reynaldo Cerezo in the 55th minute really tested Vaggelis Lalas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 57 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Lalas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rikard Wolff. YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save YELLOW FC from getting a goal against them. Vaggelis Lalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Batistuta in the 60th minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game James Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Birger Hedberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vaggelis Lalas having to make a save. Vaggelis Lalas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Batistuta in the 69th minute of the match. Vaggelis Lalas was a little too slow when James Batistuta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 77th minute James Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Lalas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Lalas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Hedberg. 79 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's goal looked a bit too open when James Batistuta came free, but Vaggelis Lalas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birger Hedberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 82nd playminute. In the 84th minute, Evripidis Zoubadellis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, James Batistuta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vaggelis Lalas. YELLOW FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that James Batistuta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Thanasis Robos took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jack Glanselius. Jack Glanselius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Vaggelis Lalas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Hedberg in the 98th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Real Södertälje had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
