But to his dismay, Jacob Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Real Murçia FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cedro Gurendes hit a great ball. José Carlos Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Albuquerque in the 37th minute of the match. La Candela FC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Real Murçia FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gonzalo Soin took the corner. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Murçia FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonzalo Soin was slow to take the kick. During this time La Candela FC's players had a chance to rest. La Candela FC's Gonzalo Soin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but José Carlos Castro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The La Candela FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacob Albuquerque was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Candela FC had won after a very even match.
