During this time YELLOW FC's players had a chance to rest. 11 minutes into the match, Robert Billock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vaggelis Lalas. YELLOW FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Billock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Jan-Olof Kämpe could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which José Carlos Castro however easily saved by the left post. José Carlos Castro made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Thanasis Robos sent off a good shot on target. Vaggelis Lalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Fiori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Olof Kämpe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but José Carlos Castro firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 24th minute Chatziioannou Sourlis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaggelis Lalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Carretero in the 26th minute of play.
