An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Carretero in the 11th minute of play forced PP Plessydask's goalkeeper Jan Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Carretero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jan Abrahamsson made a huge save. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Murçia FC's goalkeeper José Carlos Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, PP Plessydask's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Billock came free, but Jan Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PP Plessydask's attentive Lu Sheng Peng managed to snatch the ball when Ahmet Turan Yanıker made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in PP Plessydask's zone, Alfredo Fiori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Abrahamsson came out of the goal and Alfredo Fiori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, PP Plessydask's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Carretero came free, but Jan Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Ahmet Turan Yanıker in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PP Plessydask's Lu Sheng Peng. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hjalmar Haegg in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Carlos Castro saved Real Murçia FC from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Conny Alebeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
