With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Åke Molander in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Carlos Castro saved Real Murçia FC from getting behind. After 30 minutes, Gilberto Carretero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Murçia FC and the Sonstorps Fotboll players grew even worse after the yellow card. Conny Alebeck was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. Sonstorps Fotboll's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
