Özen Baroğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xose Valtierra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Gilson Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O.T.E's Javier García was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by O.T.E's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dacian Papadima was slow to take the kick. During this time Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's players had a chance to rest. Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Dacian Papadima was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Javier García in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 24 minutes into the match, Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's goal looked a bit too open when Özen Baroğlu came free, but Xose Valtierra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Lin Quan Hai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lin Quan Hai in the 29th minute of play forced Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's goalkeeper Xose Valtierra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zamora Ziarza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Javier García tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilson Damião stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. O.T.E's Javier García played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Damião in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Caldo de Gallina Ranchero getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Veto Lampez hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Gilson Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier García was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Gilson Damião blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier García having to make a save. In the 67th minute Gilson Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier García saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilson Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gilson Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
