Gilson Damião's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hendrik Herremans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Gilson Damião blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hendrik Herremans having to make a save. Gilson Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hendrik Herremans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anios Karaoulanis kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Gilson Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Amador Azailla. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Amador Azailla with Anios Karaoulanis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 42nd minute, Fredrik Terwenhout left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limburg United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Limburg United's zone, Javier Agudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hendrik Herremans came out of the goal and Javier Agudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredrik Terwenhout to make the kick off. In the 65th minute Brend Vanden Driessche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xose Valtierra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Gilson Damião left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caldo de Gallina Ranchero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 71 minutes into the match, Fredrik Terwenhout had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xose Valtierra. Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredrik Terwenhout was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Caldo de Gallina Ranchero made a substitution. Xinaro Montemiuño replaced Javier Agudo. Xose Valtierra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Terwenhout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Gilson Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hendrik Herremans was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Xose Valtierra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Coekelbergh in the 94th minute of play. Xose Valtierra came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Limburg United's Emanuel Coekelbergh. But to his dismay, Emanuel Coekelbergh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Limburg United were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
