Damazy Mitus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brend Vanden Driessche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Brend Vanden Driessche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Mitus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes in the game, Martin Budín dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 14 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Abar. Martin Budín's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hendrik Herremans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Budín in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hendrik Herremans saved Limburg United from getting behind. The supporters of Limburg United booed when Lithuanian amber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saulius Mikalajūnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Budín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik Herremans having to interfere. If Martin Budín had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Martin Budín managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lithuanian amber's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Budín was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hendrik Herremans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 29 minutes, Martin Budín managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lithuanian amber's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Budín was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hendrik Herremans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Budín's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Limburg United's Hendrik Herremans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saulius Mikalajūnas in the 38th minute of play. Hendrik Herremans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Budín in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Lithuanian amber getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. David Bengtsson hit a great ball. Damazy Mitus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Terwenhout in the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Martin Budín made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Saulius Mikalajūnas came free, but Hendrik Herremans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goalkeeper Hendrik Herremans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saulius Mikalajūnas. The crowd rose to their feet as Saulius Mikalajūnas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hendrik Herremans. That made the score 0-1 in the 53 minute of play. Hendrik Herremans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Rivera in the 57th minute. Martin Budín recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lithuanian amber's Ignas Beresnevičius was substituted for Vaidas Ragėnas. Damazy Mitus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Jonckers, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lithuanian amber had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
