Hendrik Herremans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fabian Orellana hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. FC La Masia's Cesinha do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC La Masia from getting a goal against them. Joris De Raeve could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Cesinha do Vale made a huge save. After 22 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Anios Karaoulanis. In the 27th minute Brend Vanden Driessche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC La Masia's Cesinha do Vale got control of the ball when Brend Vanden Driessche tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Murillo Galvão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hendrik Herremans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC La Masia's Cristiano Xavier got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Limburg United's Fredrik Terwenhout fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Cesinha do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris De Raeve in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, FC La Masia's Evaristo da Silva seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Evaristo da Silva the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC La Masia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Evaristo da Silva had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 44 minutes into the game, one of FC La Masia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. FC La Masia:s Cesinha do Vale showed great skill when he stopped Fredrik Terwenhout:s penalty. 47 minutes into the game, Brend Vanden Driessche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cesinha do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Xavier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Xavier in the 54th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Hendrik Herremans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesinha do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joris De Raeve, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Cesinha do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris De Raeve in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Limburg United had won after a very even match.
