Arnoldo Leicea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Loco Durazno took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Leicea. Arnoldo Leicea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Arnoldo Leicea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Nyström in the 14th minute of the match. Loco Durazno took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Leicea. Arnoldo Leicea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno got a free kick in the 18th minute. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Rundell in the 19th minute of the match. When Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Arnoldo Leicea had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Cosme Larpe's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 35th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Leicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco Durazno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Leicea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Arnoldo Leicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Diego Armando Santirso took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Anders Lundqvist to make any attempt to save it. After the first half Golden Lions FC were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Armando Santirso was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Loco Durazno made a precise shot to the right of Arnoldo Leicea. MarineerS MzC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. 55 minutes into the game, Loco Durazno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golden Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MarineerS MzC the free kick. A collision led to Golden Lions FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Loco Durazno hit a great ball. Golden Lions FC's Arne Tönnberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nereo Inge in the 58 minute of the game. Anders Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Rydberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Golden Lions FC's Joakim Haegg to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnoldo Leicea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. İbrahim Efe Topdemir replaced Hazım Tuğlu. The audience was convinced that Mats Nyström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Leicea was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. İbrahim Efe Topdemir was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Arnoldo Leicea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Nyström in the 92nd minute. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Golden Lions FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
