The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Golden Lions FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Swedish Airline Team:s goal. Anders Lundqvist had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Tommy Höijer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Tommy Höijer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anders Lundqvist. Golden Lions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Höijer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Gösta Lind's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Lundqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Nyström in the 19th minute of play forced Swedish Airline Team's goalkeeper Vihren Dandov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Mats Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vihren Dandov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vihren Dandov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Larpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Mats Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vihren Dandov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Nyström in the 42nd minute of play forced Swedish Airline Team's goalkeeper Vihren Dandov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vihren Dandov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 44th minute of play. Vihren Dandov came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Lions FC's Cosme Larpe. But to his dismay, Cosme Larpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mats Nyström to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 50 minutes, Loco Durazno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loco Durazno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magne Hääger charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magne Hääger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Swedish Airline Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Vihren Dandov had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Cosme Larpe's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Rang, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Vihren Dandov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Larpe in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Golden Lions FC's Mats Nyström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vihren Dandov. Vihren Dandov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Vihren Dandov was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Cosme Larpe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cosme Larpe really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. İbrahim Efe Topdemir replaced Hazım Tuğlu. In the 70th minute Georg Termander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vihren Dandov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Rang, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Vihren Dandov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mats Nyström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 73 minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Swedish Airline Team's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Termander came free, but Vihren Dandov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Swedish Airline Team's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Nyström came free, but Vihren Dandov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Golden Lions FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Swedish Airline Team.
