Deportivo Ortegano were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Strib Galacticos IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmondo Melone took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Jan Koller managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Andres Oper made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Jan Koller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Ortegano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Strib Galacticos IF's Hasan Fuleager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Koller in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Koller in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hasan Fuleager saved Strib Galacticos IF from getting behind. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Hasan Fuleager, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hasan Fuleager didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Koller went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Deportivo Ortegano made a substitution. Hasan Fuleager showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Guipuzcoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Strib Galacticos IF's zone, Oinomoas Konstantatos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hasan Fuleager came out of the goal and Oinomoas Konstantatos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Korneliusz Rasimowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hagbard Ribov in the 91st minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's Edmondo Melone broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Deportivo Ortegano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Strib Galacticos IF for a fine match.
