Thomas Revheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Sjö in the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by POPODARA F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cirilo Rufio was slow to take the kick. During this time Jonsereds IF's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Jonsereds IF's corner Cirilo Rufio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomas Revheim quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Mauro in the 6th minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Jonsereds IF booed when POPODARA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bendik Bekken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixten Sjö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Thomas Revheim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gard Bredesen scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Garcia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sixten Sjö sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thomas Revheim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixten Sjö in the 22nd minute. Cirilo Rufio charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirilo Rufio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jonsereds IF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cirilo Rufio hit a great ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Sixten Sjö managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jonsereds IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixten Sjö was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gard Bredesen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Garcia having to make a save. After 36 minutes POPODARA F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cirilo Rufio who took care of the corner kick. Cirilo Rufio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Thomas Revheim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixten Sjö. Thomas Revheim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixten Sjö's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Sixten Sjös short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Thomas Revheim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The wind increased when Gard Bredesen made the kick off in the second half. When Gard Bredesen came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the POPODARA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gard Bredesen couldn't finish the play. Gil Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İbrahima Diallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Thomas Revheim came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö. But to his dismay, Sixten Sjö quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Thomas Revheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixten Sjö, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, POPODARA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Sixten Sjö came free, but Thomas Revheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Sixten Sjö left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jonsereds IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 69 minutes of play, Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Revheim was left in no man's land by his defense there! POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Sjö in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Sixten Sjö got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Sixten Sjö ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Revheim was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Jonsereds IF's Gil Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Jonsereds IF from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Sixten Sjö left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jonsereds IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. POPODARA F.C's Ådne Svensen was substituted for Bendik Bekken. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Mauro got free with Gil Garcia in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvid Qvarnström kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. POPODARA F.C's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Jonsereds IF had won, even though POPODARA F.C had held more of the ball.
