In the 13th minute Måns Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Duque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurilio Duque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Sandberg in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Måns Sandberg made a precise shot to the right of Maurilio Duque. Nova Soccer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Favila Villaren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Safet Hands. That made the score 2-1 in the 24 minute of play. One of Nova Soccer:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Norrlands Athen:s goal. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Soccer from getting a goal against them. With his leg Maurilio Duque managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurilio Duque. That made the score 4-2 after 65 minutes of play. Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donat Collier in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Filcho Slivkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norrlands Athen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filcho Slivkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Norrlands Athen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nova Soccer.
