Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sixten Sjö started the match with the kick off. Gil Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lebron in the 3rd minute of play. Norrlands Athen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filcho Slivkov in the 4th minute. The corner ended in Filcho Slivkov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jonsereds IF's Gil Garcia did a great save. In the 6th minute Sixten Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safet Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Juan Lebron reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gil Garcia. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Kilstedt in the 16th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Safet Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Juan Lebron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jonsereds IF's Gil Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Kilstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Gil Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lebron in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Deckberg to maneuver through the defense. Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Kilstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonsereds IF's Gil Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Jonsereds IF from getting a goal against them. Gil Garcia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Måns Sandberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 37th minute, Sixten Sjö left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jonsereds IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Juan Lebron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute Måns Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Lebron to make the kick off. Måns Sandberg struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Gil Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norrlands Athen. In the 61st minute Juan Lebron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Nilsson charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronny Nilsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Jonsereds IF got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Nilsson. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Gilbert Hermansson replaced Måns Sandberg. After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Ronny Nilsson got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Huang Fei Ting left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norrlands Athen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixten Sjö, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonsereds IF's Gil Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Bergfelt in the 91st minute of play. Ronny Nilsson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Norrlands Athen fully deserved thier win.
