Real Chelsea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norrlands Athen the free kick. Dustin Schellander kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Wei Bing Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Sandberg in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Timothy Thorne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safet Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wei Bing Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lebron in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when Real Chelsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelvin Oldham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filcho Slivkov, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Real Chelsea's Wei Bing Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Sandberg in the 18th minute of play. Timothy Thorne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Qian Jian Wei got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Stu Bullock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Chelsea's Wei Bing Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Lebron in the 26th minute of play. After some careless play in the Real Chelsea defense, Måns Sandberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wei Bing Ran. The Real Chelsea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wei Bing Ran should have stopped the shot. Gus Weir scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Safet Hands, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Real Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Sandberg came free, but Wei Bing Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wei Bing Ran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wei Bing Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Sandberg in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gus Weir to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Real Chelsea's goalkeeper Wei Bing Ran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Måns Sandberg. Real Chelsea were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Norrlands Athen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Herbert Blomkvist took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gus Weir got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Safet Hands quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 61st minute, Norrlands Athen's Juan Lebron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 68th match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Bergfelt to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Real Chelsea's Wei Bing Ran got control of the ball when Gilbert Hermansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timothy Thorne in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real Chelsea's Timothy Thorne got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Juan Lebron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timothy Thorne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Safet Hands tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Tyler Tolley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Safet Hands was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
