The referee ignored FC Lilli's protests and gave Battista Gail a yellow card for diving instead. Battista Gail hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s Jean Fernandez in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dietbald Ströbele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Blank, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Christian Hofmann was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 21st match minute, Verissimo KFCH F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Furlan to maneuver through the defense. Arnd Wegel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FC Lilli's Otto-Stephan Hennig got control of the ball when Jean Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Lilli's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristian Mello was slow to take the kick. During this time Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Hassan Mylting almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Lilli's Otto-Stephan Hennig did a great save. Otto-Stephan Hennig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Fernandez in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Fernandez in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Lilli's goalkeeper Otto-Stephan Hennig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Mello was slow to take the kick. During this time Verissimo KFCH F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Tiago Corrêa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jonathan Blank hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Jean Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Otto-Stephan Hennig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Otto-Stephan Hennig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Fernandez in the 94th minute of play.
